The NMB is an innovative tool for ‘Ocean’ Meteorologists who specialise in forecasting near and offshore sea conditions around the world.  The NMB imports raw data from the best performing meteorological models in the world and calculates which model is generating the most accurate ‘maritime’ forecasts at any point in time. This provides our dedicated team of Maritime Meteorologists with unique access to the very latest, detailed and accurate information on wind and sea conditions.

The performance of the NMB is routinely verified to monitor forecast performance and ensure ongoing developments continue to deliver further enhancements in forecast accuracy.  Statistics to date show that on average, the NMB delivers forecasts which are up to 15% more accurate than other forecasts available to the maritime market.
