Donat Rétif to take over as CEO of MeteoGroup

LONDON – July 28, 2016 – MeteoGroup, one of the world’s leading weather solutions businesses, headquartered in London, UK, announced today that the current CEO, Mr. Lex Rozenbroek has decided to resign for personal reasons and will be succeeded by Mr. Donat Rétif as Chief Executive Officer effective August 1, 2016. Mr. Rozenbroek will continue on as advisor through the month of August in order to ensure a seamless leadership transition.

Donat Rétif most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Truvo, a leading international business in the information, advertising and data market, based in Antwerp, Belgium. Prior to joining Truvo in 2005, he was a senior executive at Verizon Information Services, the telecom and directory business, holding various leadership roles based in the United States and Canada. Mr. Rétif graduated from the University of Mons, Belgium, with a degree in commercial engineering.

Donat Rétif - Bio

Donat Rétif was until June 2016 President and Chief Executive Officer of Truvo, a leading international business in the information, advertising and data market, based in Antwerp, Belgium, which had operations across seven countries. Before joining Truvo in 2005, Donat gained significant international experience within the telecom and directory business, holding various Sales VP roles with Verizon Information Services in Canada and USA. Donat, who is 45 years old and a Belgian citizen, obtained a degree in Commercial Engineering at the University of Mons, Belgium.
