MeteoGroup presents weather solutions at E-World 2016

MeteoGroup, Europe’s largest private weather service will be exhibiting at E-World Energy & Water 16th - 18th February 2016, in Essen, Germany. Amongst other products, MeteoGroup will present the wind energy index NAREX WIDE, which was launched at the end of 2015, together with Nasdaq.

NAREX WIDE is the first index launched within this series, referring to wind power generation in Germany. Futures based on NAREX WIDE provide energy companies and trading houses with an opportunity to hedge risks involved with buying or selling energy from fluctuating wind power generation.

MeteoGroup will also be introducing the new version of the online portal, TradingMaster. Clear and easy to understand, it provides short, medium and long-term forecasts based on the world’s best weather forecast models. Visitors will also be able to hear about World Climate Service (WCS), which includes seasonal weather predictions.
